Tolerated pastor

Many humanitarians of our time in various ways demonstrated tolerance in their scientific, philosophical and social activities. Including a number of such thinkers and researchers, showed tolerant behavior long before the final design and consolidation of the concept of "tolerance" in scientific and social life. Contributing to a better understanding of this concept and ethical principle. Thus enriching both scientific thought and culture. The analysis of the heritage of such thinkers allows us to take a fresh look at spiritual problems and consider their contribution to the cultural diversity of our time. Archpriest Alexander Vladimirovich (wolfovich) Men (1935-1990) was one of such inquisitive thinkers who devoted more than thirty years to the study of spiritual culture (from the end of the fifties to September 9, 1990 – the day of his death). An outstanding Orthodox pastor, philosopher and theologian, historian and spiritual educator, made a particularly significant contribution to Russian culture, in maintaining the traditions of humanity, dialogue and tolerance. To this day, in the post-Soviet society and abroad, the keen interest of the scientific community, as well as religious and secular society to the creative heritage and to the personality of A. V. Me, has not decreased. In addition to scientific, philosophical and theological works of A. Me, tolerance and dialogicity of the heritage of this thinker and public figure remains an actual topic. Tolerance allowed Alexander Menu to lead a successful pastoral activity, making him one of the most famous missionaries of Soviet society. For three decades A. Men in the framework of his pastoral work, through tolerant activities and parity dialogue, brought up and influenced close to him part of the Soviet intelligentsia, thereby creating a heritage that to this day greatly affects the modern religious and social life of our country.

Key words: tolerance, shepherd, theologian, religious tolerance, spirituality, ecumenism.

The transformation of meaning mass culture in the postmodern

The understanding of the mass character of cultural phenomena and the laws of their distribution in postmodernism leads to the idea of a specific way of functioning of mass culture and culture as a "culture of information", determined by the direct influence of the media on the format of the final cultural products, where only what is legal and passable is replicable. However, the reproduction of copies of art among the General public, leads to the destruction of catharsis, opening a new era in the "sensory perception", due to the development of modern technologies allowing mechanical reproduction of cultural artifacts.  The article shows that the transformation of signs into simulacra, observed in the mass culture of post-industrial society, the growing emancipation of codes from referents, is actually not as harmless semiotic phenomenon, what we are trying to present it, as what is happening dramatically affects the structure of the worldview and the system of human values.

Key words: culture, mass culture, replication, copy, simulacrum, sign, postmodern.

The process of cognition of the musical thought of Mo-tzu: from the subjective to the objective on the path of universal abstraction

Studies of Mo-tzu’s musical views previously dwelt on translations of ancient historical documents, and the value of his knowledge was not given an exact place, the emphasis was only on his denial of music, where only material gain is known and spiritual benefit is not recognized, the workers’ desire for beauty and desire through music to express the voice of the heart. This article makes a rational and comprehensive analysis of the expression of the theory of musical views of Mo-tzu from the point of view of the philosophy of music, and moreover, research leads to the conclusion that his musical thinking contributed and made progress in understanding the whole musical ideology of that time. This is a cognitive process that needs to go through the unity of the subjective and objective on the path to becoming a universal abstraction in music, as well as its rational knowledge.

Key words: Musical thinking of Mo-tzu, unity of subjective and objective, universal abstraction.
