The confessional composition of military cadets: the connection of religion with socio-demographic characteristics and success of studying at the academy

Religion is an important resource for maintaining the healthy moral, political and psychological state of military personnel. At the same time, the decrease in the share of Orthodox believers and the increase in the number of Muslims in the army actualizes the appeal to a comparative analysis of the attitude of different confessional groups to military service. The article presents the results of a sociological study of the influence of the level of religiosity and confessional affiliation of military cadets on educational and service success. Conclusions are drawn about the correspondence of the confessional composition of future officers to the population of the country as a whole, the connection of the level of religiosity of cadets with some socio-demographic characteristics, the positive influence of religiosity on the subjective well-being and formation of the military identity of cadets, more frequent use of military service as a social elevator by Muslims, as well as a higher level of their declared religiosity and loyalty to military service.

Key words: confessional composition, religious militarymen, religiosity, military identity, subjective well-being.

Representation of religious aspects affecting the formation of a modern civil society of a multi-faith region in the multimedia historical park "Russia - my history" of Krasnodar

Relevance of the research topic. The Krasnodar Territory is historically not only a multinational region, but also a multi-religious one. Currently, more than 700 religious organizations in 28 directions are officially registered in the Krasnodar Territory. Among them, the largest number of Orthodox Christians, the second largest Protestant organizations are more than 200. This includes: Jehovah's Witnesses, Baptist Christians, Pentecostals, Evangelicals, and others. There are 13 parishes of the Armenian Apostolic Church, 11 parishes of the Roman Catholic Church and 12 Muslim religious organizations, as well as other small organizations, including Buddhists, in the Krasnodar Territory. This article discusses the exposition and related components and opportunities of the branches of the project "Russia – My History". Starting from 2021, it was decided to add this project to the national Education project. Representatives of different nationalities and all world religions live on the territory of Russia, who historically and now live, protect and work for the glory of Russia. The issue of interfaith dialogue is still relevant for Russia today, and multimedia parks could be a historical and cultural platform for presenting and discussing the role of world religions in the history of Russia, a single country for all.

Key words: communicative, space, socio-cultural, exposition, exhibit, multimedia, world religions, Orthodoxy, Islam, Buddhism.

Islam and feminism: disagreements, intersections and compatibility

The article is devoted to the analysis of the compatibility of Islam and feminism, the identification of key points of disagreement and unity of these doctrines on the issue of women's rights. The purpose of the article was to address the methodological foundations of Islam and feminism for a detailed consideration of their basic premises, which ultimately form the agenda regarding women, their role and place in society. A significant conclusion was that despite the coincidence in a number of issues, Islam and feminism are two value paradigms that differ from each other, whose overlap inevitably causes dissonance and rejection of one of the components. Practical recommendations mainly draw the reader's attention to the perniciousness of ignoring the women's issue by religious figures in the context of the growing popularity of women's activism.

Key words: islam, feminism, islamic feminism, women's rights, gender equality, islamic law, feminist theology.

People and bees: from mythological and religious ideas to economics and politics

The article presents an excursion into the history of the relationship between people and bees, which is reflected in a variety of sources, starting from the late Paleolithic period. Special attention to the role of bees in mythological plots, and then in religious texts, is explained not only by the symbolism of images associated with these insects, but also by those high moral meanings that bees broadcast. It was this moral aspect that influenced the behavior of environmentally oriented representatives of the business community, who initiated projects to preserve the bee population. Observing the life of these insects gives food for thought not only to apiologists, but also to specialists from many other sciences, mathematics, sociology, political science and others, each of which finds in the image of a bee and the peculiarities of its life a ground for thought.

Key words: ecology, bees, swarm, society, history, mythology, religion, politics, business.

Geopolitical culture: what do you call a ship

The article is written as a detailed historical reference about the origin of the concept of "culture", the author of which is the prominent Roman public figure Cato the Elder, or Mark Porcius Cato the Censor. Cato is known not only as the author of a work on agriculture, where the definition of "culture" is used for the first time, but also as a persistent supporter of bringing the war between Rome and Carthage to a victorious end, which can be considered a manifestation of geopolitical culture. But over the millennia after those events, neither culture nor geopolitical culture could completely go beyond their original meaning and acquire new moral determinants.

Key words: history, culture, geopolitics, Rome, Carthage, sea, land, war.

Influence of the social essence of war and peace on the organization of the military service

The article examines the social essence of war and peace, as well as the essence of the organization of military service. The article also provides the relationship and analysis of the influence of the social essence of war and peace on the organization of military service. The conducted content analysis demonstrated the lack of a sufficient number of studies and materials devoted to the study of the social essence of war and peace, as well as their impact on the organization of modern military service. This determines the relevance of this topic and the need to study it, which will improve the organization of military service. It was revealed that war can be defined as intergroup organized violence - this is a mandatory sign of such a phenomenon as war. It was revealed that the world is usually positioned as a continuum, while war is considered as the termination of this continuum. Peace is the starting point and final point of any war, so it allows us to understand its most important characteristics and properties. On the basis of the influence of the social essence of war and peace in the organization of the military service of the Russian Federation, a number of tendencies are noted, which are presented in the work.

Key words: organization of military service, war, peace, society, state.

Development of digital society and its impact on personality

The article examines the stages of the formation and development of an electronic-digital society, clarifies the concept of "electronic-digital society" as a set of social relations in various spheres of human activity, which occur on the basis of the widespread use of electronic-digital communication technologies, thanks to which any person has the opportunity create, disseminate and use information and knowledge. It is shown that the process of integration of technologies and services accelerates both the development of society and the individual. The changes that take place in society under the influence of the digital environment lead to changes in the nature of labor, in the structure of industrial relations and in the field of communications, which makes the development of the electronic digital competence of the individual urgent.

A new formation in the socio-economic space

A significant impact on the fate of human civilization in the 21st century is exerted by the results of deep systemic transformations that have swept almost the entire world. Before our eyes, the general world order, which has existed for several centuries, is changing, and a new one is coming to replace it. This future model of the development of society is characterized by various terms and scientists have yet to formalize its content and define its distinctive features. At the same time, it is obvious that a scientific solution to the problem of formalizing the future of an evolutionarily defined type of society development is impossible without taking into account the experience of past generations, in particular, those events and phenomena in the history of mankind that were determined by socio-political, economic, social and cultural factors of the formation of society. This formulation of the question determines the methodological tools of cognition and determines the purpose of the study, which is to consider the features of the development and formation of a new formation in the socio-economic space. Research methods are based on the formation approach or formation theory and, in particular, include analysis and synthesis, generalization and systematization, modeling and forecasting, analogy and historical reconstruction. This approach was chosen due to the fact that, in comparison with other schemes of periodization, the formational periodization of the development of society is distinguished by its consistency (the theory unites the economic, social and political aspects of social life), dialectical internal logic, which makes it possible to analyze society not from idealistic ones, but from scientific positions. In the course of the research, five formations of the development of society were considered and characterized in detail. Taking into account the results obtained and the key trends of our time, the article formulates the assumption that a new formation in the socio-economic space, a new stage in the development of mankind, is the era of the information society. The modern formation actualizes a number of issues related to reforming the political, economic and spiritual systems of society, ensuring human rights and freedoms. A separate emphasis in the article is made on the risks and threats inherent in the new formation, caused by the degradation of society as a whole, which affects public morality, spirituality and culture of the new generation.

Key words: society, development, formation, spirituality, morality.
