Poetry of Rasul Gamzatov: translation or basic author's concepts
The article is devoted to the actual and little-studied problem of the correlation between translation and artistic concept in the poetry of R. Gamzatov. An attempt is made to reveal the pattern of interlingual correspondences, which are determined by the existence of correlative lexical-semantic categories and inexhaustible meanings in the poet's lyrics. It is concluded that the phenomenon of R. Gamzatov is in the inexhaustibility of artistic meanings and basic individual author's concepts of his poetry, which turned out to be more significant than translation.
Key words: Rasul Gamzatov, Dagestan poetry, problem of translation. Raziyat Abdullaevna Akhmedova.

Library and its role in the development of the cultural space of the university
The article describes the various roles and functions performed by the library in the cultural space of a higher educational institution at the present time. The aim of the study was to identify the role of libraries in the development of the cultural space of the university. The study was conducted within the framework of an activity approach to the work of libraries using methods of analysis, synthesis, forecasting, etc. It is noted that the work of university libraries is currently significantly affected by technological changes, as a result of which library funds are transferred to an electronic format, and students get access to them remotely, without the need for physical presence in the library premises. In connection with the digitalization of the library fund, the functions of the university library are changing: the leading position of the information function is being lost, since information is no longer scarce and can be obtained outside the library, the role of coordinating and integrative functions is increasing. Of particular importance is the cultural function of the library of the university: the library becomes the organizer of the spiritual development of students, the initiator of their familiarization with moral and cultural values. In the cultural space of the university, the library acquires the role of a center of spiritual and cultural attraction, gives students and teachers certain guidelines that allow them to maintain cultural unity even in conditions of distance existence and electronic educational interaction. The conclusion is made about the further prospects for the development of university libraries, among which the prospect of strengthening the cultural function of the library, consolidating its role as the center of the cultural space of the university, stands out.
Key words: library, institution of higher education, culture, cultural space, cultural function.

Russian Icon: media presentation options
This study is devoted to ancient and modern Russian icon painting and its presentation in the modern media space. Russian Russian icon The purpose of the article is due to the special status of the icon in Russian culture, which, being an important part of church life and occupying the most revered place in the life of the Russian people, over time, namely at the beginning of the twentieth century, began to position itself as a work of art, becoming an important element of the modern cultural life of Russia. This article raises the issue of widespread coverage of icon painting art with the help of technical means and the placement of icons in the media sphere. In the course of the research, comparative historical, iconographic methods, as well as a method of description and linguistic analysis of texts promoting Russian icons were used. The author believes that the successful prototype of the media presentation of Russian icons was their display in historical and art museums of the 1920s. when the first attempt was made to accompany the exhibition of icons with a guidebook and catalog. The author of the article believes that modern popular guidebooks and catalogs also contain interesting texts of the presentation of the Russian icon for travelers and tourists. The empirical material subjected to scientific analysis allowed us to conclude that the structure, composition and conceptual organization of the texts we are interested in determine the correlation of the verbal and non-verbal components of the interpretative commentary in the texts that promote the icon.
Key words: icon, media presentation, culture, Russia, art, cathedral, church, exposition, fresco.

Cultural Images of the Sinful and Virtuous Women in “The Genius of Christianity” by F.R. Chateaubriand
The book “The Genius of Christianity” written by the prominent French author and the founder of French Romanticism F.R. Chateaubriand marked significant changes in French society of the XIX century. With his appearing the atheistic ideas of the Enlightenment were changed into religious, the institution of religion captured the attention of all sectors of the society. The basic intention of the author implied his desire to tell the readers about the miracles and the strength of Christianity, its superiority over Heathenism, the things a person or the whole society could benefit from it. Not having a general plot the book by F.R. Chateaubriand represents an emotionally affecting text, with the artistic expressions’ means being widely used in it. The powerful images of a sinful woman and a virtuous woman are not an exception. The study of these images which belong to XIX century French culture is the aim of the research. The key methods used are an interpretive method, a conceptual and culture-semiotic analysis. As a result, the main characteristics as well as the archetypal figures have been identified. A virtuous woman is powerful, clever, happy, attractive and surrounded by the relatives’ love. A sin woman is silly, heartless, loathsome, cold by nature, dirty, ill and lonely. An Angel and a Serpent, consequently, were their prototypes.

Comparison of Chinese and Russian concepts of education from the point of view of the theory of intercultural dimensions Gert Hofstede
This article analyzes five aspects of intercultural dimensions of the Dutch sociologist Geert Hofstede against the background of intercultural communication. The result of comparing the differences in the concepts of education between China and Russia shows that collectivism is a relative concept, on the one hand, Chinese education embodies a large team and a small personality, and Russian pedagogical thought embodies a small team and a big personality. Accordingly, in Chinese education, collectivism positively correlates with power distance and negatively correlates with the principle of uncertainty, while in Russian the same features will turn out, only in reverse. On the other hand, in China and in Russia, masculinity and femininity, long-term and short-term orientation manifest similar knowledge in the international educational context, and communicate the values of the culture of the two countries. Chinese and Russian cultures deeply influence the development of international education, and each of them has its own strengths. Familiarity with these differences will help teachers and students in China and Russia to better understand the behaviors underlying teaching methods, increase intercultural awareness, and improve intercultural adaptability and competence.
Key words: intercultural communication, theory of intercultural dimensions, Gert Hofstede, similarities and differences, educational concepts of China and Russia, international education.

The Russian model of reproduction as a counterbalance to the model of American banking «feudalism»
The relevance of the research topic is due to the need to develop a model of Russian reproduction, as a counterweight to the model of American banking «feudalism».
American banking «feudalism» appears as the dominance of the financial exchange over reproduction. The American model has now reached the level of «imperialism», which is represented financially in the form of IAFT and in terms of production, as a worldwide cluster system.
In this regard, in Russia, the growth of investment in mining at a higher rate than in the manufacturing industry only strengthens the position of American banking «feudalism». At the same time, the raw material «landlords» in Russia interact with the «feudal bankers» of Europe and the United States, as with their production partners. This happens because investment projects are not aimed at creating an ideal state, but at developing a global cluster system.
A counterbalance to banking «feudalism» and its cluster system can only be such a fund, the authorized and reserve capital of which is determined by the state together with local self-government bodies. The founder of such a fund should be the People's Cathedral, as the highest body of local self-government in Russia.
Key words: reproduction system, economic model, project, banking «feudalism», crisis phenomena, profit, self-government, capitalism, socialism, in-vestments, capital, currency, economic security, exchange, counterweight.

The Russian child-free trend in comparison with Western countries
The purpose of this study is to identify the trend towards adherence to the ideology of the child–free movement among the population of Russia in the XXI century. The relevance of the work is due to the public interest in Western trends, which are characteristic of the so-called "Second Demographic Transition", as well as the influence of Western culture on the Russian institution of the family. The methods of statistical and bibliographic analysis were used in the work. The material was created on the basis of our own sociological survey conducted as part of the study of family planning issues of Russians. The object of the study was the socio-cultural sphere of Western and Russian society. The subject of the study is the modern phenomenon of child–free. Special attention is paid to the attitude to this trend, as well as to the current state Russian policy in the field of family relations and the institution of the family. The main issue was considered in the social and legal paradigm. In the course of the work, the following conclusions were drawn: the need to increase attention in relation to this issue, the need to focus on value orientation and issues related to the material component. Also in the course of the study, several predictors of the tendency to abstain from childbearing among young Russians were put forward. However, in the course of the study, we found out that the key concept of family planning in Russia has not undergone much change. The scientific novelty of the work lies in the study of the prerequisites for following child-free. The author's special contribution to the study is to establish the existence of contradictions between the policy of development of the traditional concept of the family and modern growing trends in society.
Key words: demography, family planning, child–free, motherhood, family institution development, feminism, traditional family.

Category "need" in interdisciplinary discourse
The article is devoted to the consideration of the need in different sciences, an attempt to come to a common understanding of the nature of this phenomenon and the definition of the concept. It is noted that many studies of needs are isolated within the specifics of a particular discipline, which is reflected in the development of the methodology of study, manifested in the unilateral nature of the proposed classifications. Each of the sciences, within the framework of which the need is studied, analyzes human needs only from its specific point of view, paying attention only to those elements and properties that are related to its subject. This is clearly seen when comparing different approaches and definitions available in the specialized literature, which, in turn, leads to a lot of discussions about the objectivity and subjectivity of needs. The article shows that as a result, many researchers do not dare to go beyond the traditionally established disciplinary framework. For example, a psychologist trying to understand the reasons for the observed orientation of personality behavior is afraid of "falling into sociologism", and sociologists, on the contrary, reject "psychologism". Economists, on the other hand, when investigating personal needs or interests of social groups, tend to avoid both "extremes".
Key words: need, objective, subjective, methodology, person.

Education of patriotism in the conditions of the information war
At the heart of any culture is tradition, rite, ritual. This is something that should be preserved in the national culture and passed on from generation to generation, that is, broadcast to the future. Thanks to tradition, the originality of culture is preserved, and certain pillars of the life of the nation are observed: devotion, love for the Motherland, citizenship, patriotism. Alien culture, imposed from the outside, destroys people's consciousness. Each new generation learns the norms, rules and customs through those signs that symbolize the connection with the national culture.
Each new generation learns the norms, rules and customs through those signs that symbolize the connection with the national culture.
From the point of view of social philosophy, it seems important to preserve the foundations of the Russian statehood, to educate patriotism and citizenship on the basis of native Russian ideas about unity, Orthodoxy, collectivism, good. Even the Slavophiles, in their polemics with the Westerners, warned that it was impossible to plant other people's ideas and culture in Russia.Russian culture has its own specific destiny, determined by the course of historical development. In modern conditions of pressure of traditions and propaganda of the "collective West" on the public consciousness of Russians, it is very important to create conditions for a correct understanding and perception of Russian traditions. This, of course, is facilitated by the timely transformation of Russian education. The article discusses the influence of virtual reality on the problem of patriotism education in the context of general digitalization and information war, ways of mass media influence on the consciousness of Russian people, increased confrontation, war for mentality.
Key words: patriotism, mentality, meaning of history, humanism, values, collective consciousness, Americanization of consciousness, information war.

The relevance of the natural and artificial in modern ontology in the concepts of H. Harman and D. Birnbacher
The difference between what goes back to human central influence and what would be without man matters for our orientation in the world. With these concepts, we mark not only the requirements in the environmental sphere and choose food products, but also the satisfaction of human nature, the degree of its severity with the animal world, and, based on who a person is (more animal or spiritual being), we gain an understanding of the meaning of life in in general. Modern ontological thought refers to the dichotomy of natural and artificial in two ways: on the one hand, this is a familiar linguistic division, the use of which can be traced to modern Antiquity, on the other hand, it is an anachronism, the meaning of which is no longer relevant in the new conditions. This article offers to get acquainted with several positions closer through the work of contemporary philosophers D. Birnbacher and G. Harman.
Key words: natural, artificial, G. Harman, D. Birnbacher, ontology.
