The role of religious organizations in the formation of a social mechanism in the management of the integration of immigrants in the border region

The article examines various aspects of managing the integration of immigrants into the host community of the border region. The main purpose of the article is to determine the role of religious organizations in the formation of a social mechanism in the management of the integration of immigrants in the border region. It is emphasized that in the context of modern social transformations and globalization, the importance of effective management of migration processes, which can influence the development of the entire socio-economic sphere of the region, is increasing many times over. Effective integration of immigrants is of great importance for border regions, where migration processes are most active. In the case of contact information, border migration can become an integral part of the socio-economic processes of the region, and its impact on the structure of the regional economy and socio-cultural territories of the region. In the context of intensive immigration in the border regions, it is necessary to develop and apply special integration tools that will be effective in these areas. It was concluded that it is necessary to expand those who manage, coordinate and implement migration policy, incl. at the expense of religious organizations and public structures. This will make it possible to distribute the activities of state, state and public structures by areas of responsibility. In turn, the social mechanism for managing the integration of immigrants in the border region is the interaction of state and municipal authorities, religious organizations, the public sector and business to solve problems, overcome barriers, set tasks, distribute powers and reflects a new quality of migration policy.

Key words: border region, integration of immigrants, social mechanism, religious organizations.

Historical aspects of the perception of the nursing profession: religious service, war deeds, “ordinary profession”

Research suggests the leading role of personal qualities in the perception of the nursing profession. As a significant factor for this, the article considers the historical process of forming the image of the nursing profession. The article highlights the essential stages in the formation of the nursing profession, associated with its specific image - the stage of «prerequisites», religious stage, the military stage associated with civil deeds in the wars of the 19-20 centuries, the stage of "routinization" of the profession, associated with the transformation of the profession into a "ordinary" one. Based on the results of the study, the article shows that to date, the previous “heroic” stages are not explicitly present in the image of the profession. It is proposed to create continuity in the heroic image of a nurse "then" and "now".

Key words: Nurse, sister of mercy, image, heroes, war, COVID-19, personal qualities.

Sociology, health and lessons from the pandemic

Based on the materials of the third forum "Sociology of Health" (https://socforum.niioz.ru/en/) in 2021, the article considers the views of the expert community, both sociological (and humanitarian in general), and medical on the lessons of the pandemic and the contours of the future healthcare system. Among the forum key topics were: understanding the pandemic from the point of view of society, the search for methodological solutions for measuring various humanitarian aspects of the healthcare system, the mental state of the population and medical workers and how to deal with it, the transformation of the image of a medical specialist, the challenges of communication with population on healthcare issues during the pandemic. These aspects can be considered as the main topics in the study of the "human dimension" of healthcare today. Among the promising areas, first of all experts considered the issues of digitalization of healthcare and digital processes related to health and medicine (for example, in the field of social media). An analysis of the discussion showed that there is little consensus in the interdisciplinary understanding of the pandemic today, each aspect that received a positive response, in most cases received a negative one, and opposite opinions were expressed by the experts participating in the forum on almost all issues. Thus, today there is a need to continue the expert dialogue in order to find consensus in understanding of pandemic transformations.
