Conciliar consciousness in the works of S.N. Trubetskoy

The article examines the approach of the Russian philosopher S.N. Trubetskoy to self-awareness of the individual and the role of society in this process. Reflecting on human consciousness, Trubetskoy came to interesting conclusions about the role of ancestors, family values and language in the personality of each person. Based on the concepts of Truth, sensuality, society and, taking into account the role of the church and God, he derived the concept of conciliarity of consciousness, which he understood as community, spiritual unity. In this work, the author attempts to analyze the main epistemological roots that allowed Trubetskoy to formulate the idea of conciliarity of consciousness. The origins of S.N. Trubetskoy's idea and their relevance for modern researchers in the field of personality and society are shown. Since much attention is currently being paid to Russian identity and the need to turn to traditional values and spiritual experience, the idea of conciliarity of consciousness, which was developed by S.N. Trubetskoy, acquires a special meaning. The author of this article concludes that it is conciliarity that allows anyone to live in society, interact with people and improve themselves as individuals.

Key words: interaction, unity, unity of personality, truth, ancestral experience, conciliarity, consciousness, society, feelings.

Translation as a missionary strategy in the Christian East

The fundamental rejection of linguistic and ethnic preferences, proclaimed in early Christianity, was pivotal for creation of national written traditions and translation of the Holy Scriptures. However, in the course of time this process slowed down and sometimes almost stopped. This could be caused by the idea of “sacred languages”, confidence in one's own cultural superiority, excessive piety regarding translation activities.

Key words: Bible, Bible translation, mission, Orthodox Church.

Towards the origins of national identity: "Russkaya pravda" by grand duke Yaroslav Vladimirovich (the Wise)

The article examines the history, content, and features of the historical significance of the first Russian legal document “Russian Truth”, created during the reign of the Great Russian Prince Yaroslav Vladimirovich (11th century). Issues related to the reasons for the prince's appeal to legal issues are touched upon and the connection of his decisions with the social, historical, and political context existing at that time is indicated. Yaroslav, as a wise ruler, was confident that the strengthening status of Rus in the international space required internal reforms and significant decisions that could influence the fate of the country. It is concluded that Yaroslav’s “Russian Truth” is a turning point in the formation of Russian ethnic statehood. It has been revealed that the main, mandatory component of “Russian Truth”, which reflects the characteristics of the national mentality, is belief in truth, justice and a state legal institution that has great potential in organizing the life of society. At the same time, ancient politicians positioned the idea of the need to combine retribution for crime with mercy. In conclusion, it is emphasized as a promising analysis of the content of “Russian Truth” in the context of its influence on the formation of national ideas about legal norms. A connection is made with modern times, when issues of establishing justice and faith in goodness still remain at the center of society’s attention and largely determine the political decisions of modern politicians.

Key words: mentality, Yaroslav the wise, “Russian Truth”, law, justice, statehood.

The phenomenon of neo-archaism in modern screen culture using the example of cinema

The article examines the phenomenon of neo-archaism in screen culture. During periods of social transformation, a person’s appeal to the ancient stages of the development of society, including culture and art, is especially pronounced. In the current era, when screen culture occupies a dominant position, manifestations of neo-archaism can be found, in particular, in cinema. The article examines several films of the late 20th and early 21st centuries. in order to identify neo-archaic features - “Eyes Wide Shut” 1999, “The Killing of a Sacred Deer” 2017, “The House That Jack Built” 2018, “Leviathan” 2014. In the study of screen works, hermeneutic and semiotic methods, as a result, a conclusion is drawn regarding the presence of signs of archaization in these films. Among these features, common points stand out: the author’s desire to point out the ancient myth used in the film, as well as the hero’s struggle with fate and higher powers, to which he invariably loses. These findings make it possible to classify works of screen culture as neoarchaic, which in turn will serve as the basis for further research into the phenomenon of neoarchaism in screen culture.

Key words: screen culture, cinema, visual culture, archaic, neo-mythologism, neo-archaic, myth, archaic culture, modernization, cultural transformation, social shift.

Inversion of the opposition of good and evil in slasher films (on the example of the continuation of the “Halloween” and “Friday the 13th” franchises)

The subject of the study is the inversion of the opposition of good and evil in slasher films (using the example of the continuation of the “Halloween” and “Friday the 13th” franchises). The article determines that the manifestation of a change in the representation of the interaction of Good and Evil from the Christian to the neo-Gnostic paradigm can be seen in the examples of horror films (or separately slashers) and their remakes. For the “golden age” of slashers, for all the seeming senselessness of the ongoing chain of murders, a distinctive feature was the concept of the “final girl".

Key words: slasher, good, evil, gnostic myth, horror, the final girl.

Associations of graduates of maritime universities and their impact on the development of the seafarers' training system

In modern society, there is an active formation of a single socio-economic and transport and logistics space, a stage of comprehensive reform of the entire economic system. This process is accompanied by a global transformation of the Russian transport system and the construction of new logistics chains and integration mechanisms in trade processes. Today, investments in people are the main priority of the state's activities, therefore, high requirements are placed on the training of specialists, including in the field of maritime transportation. University graduates are one of the key assets due to the fact that their achievements further provide educational organizations with a positive reputation. Propensity to alcohol dependence among the youth

Alcohol abuse and alcohol dependence are now major social problems affecting both adult and child populations. The average age of first use of drinks containing alcohol is 14 years old. Males are the most prone to alcohol consumption. The predominant proportion of the population who drink alcohol excessively are university students. The reasons for drinking alcohol are diverse and are mostly related to psychological and social aspects. The aim of the study was to determine the probability of alcoholism among young people in Perm. An online survey of young people in Perm was conducted on the Google Forms platform using the University of Michigan screening test. 300 people aged 18-23 took part in the study: 150 women and 150 men. The results of the survey showed that 75% of the respondents had no signs of alcoholism. The average age of beginning to drink alcoholic beverages among women is between the ages of 15-18, which is not the case with men, 1/3 of whom began drinking before the age of 15. Most women and men (70% and 50% respectively) use alcohol to relax and distract themselves from daily problems. The most consumed alcoholic beverage is beer. Thus, the abuse of alcohol by young people affects the formation of personality, in this regard, preventive measures should be carried out from adolescence.

Trust as the main factor forming a positive public opinion about the police

In this article, the author explores the essence of trust as the main factor in the formation of a positive public opinion about the police. It has been established that the trust of citizens acts not only as a principle of police activity, but also as the main criterion for assessing its effectiveness. The author approaches the study of the chosen topic from the position of a philosophical and social approach, in which trust is defined as one of the conditions of human interaction. An important aspect of the dependence of law enforcement agencies on the attitude of representatives of the civil sphere towards them is that one of the most important conditions for responding to illegal activities is knowledge of the fact of its implementation.

Family education as a social phenomenon

Every year in our country, the number of students who receive education in the family form is increasing. Gradually, in each region of our country, a certain social group of people is being formed, united by a common goal – to receive a general education for children, and, accordingly, interacting with each other at different levels.

The article presents an attempt to consider homeschooling as a social phenomenon that characterizes the social interaction of people associated with the solution of pedagogical tasks. The features of this social group of parents are revealed: a socially prosperous portrait of families, the subjective position of parents in the organization of education; the initiation and creation of parent communities that actively interact with each other, exchanging pedagogical experience; an alternative approach to the organization and construction of the learning and upbringing process.

The essence of homeschooling lies in the fact that the family environment is recognized as the most favorable basis for the formation of a holistic and harmoniously developed personality, the separation of the processes of schooling and upbringing in the family adversely affects the overall development of the child, especially in preschool and early school age.

Key words: social phenomenon, social group, parent communities, homeschooling, alternative education, forms of education.

Sports and student youth: status, problems, areas of development

The relevance of the topic is due to the growing interest of young people in sports. The article, based on a secondary analysis of the results of sociological research, analyzes the level of involvement of student youth in sports and the directions of its development. The study revealed the following contradiction: young people have a positive attitude towards sports, many projects have been created and are being implemented to popularize it, but almost half of young people do not engage in it. Among the reasons: lack of free time, lack of funds, health restrictions, psychological barriers, etc. The article proposes measures to find mechanisms for increasing the mass participation of sports among students.

Key words: youth, students, sports, student sports, physical education.

Function of the institute of sports in the social integration of migrants

The article is devoted to the study of the possibilities of the Institute of Sports in the activities of social integration of migrants. Currently, Russian citizens are in a situation of social, economic, political, cultural, psychological discomfort, experiencing difficulties in forming solidarity. Many people themselves are poorly integrated into all spheres of social life, including sports. Therefore, at the present stage it is difficult to talk about a quick and effective solution to the problems of social integration of migrants in Russia.

As a result of the study, it is concluded that the legal and socio-political measures that the state authorities are currently taking are insufficient to achieve the integration of the Russian population and migrants. Therefore, it is necessary to pay serious attention to the involvement of the Institute of Sports in the implementation of the regulation of the process of social integration of migrants and their family members in Russia. Therefore, it is important to gently regulate the process of social integration of migrants within the framework of the Institute of sports.

Key words: regulation, social function, social dysfunction, institute of sports, social integration of migrants.
