Special attention is paid to the numerous arabisms in the Sicilian language as a reflection of the innovations introduced by the Arabs in the material culture of Sicily, as well as the ethnographic phenomena behind these lexemes, in the context of an anthropological analysis of the processes of acculturation of the local population in the Emirate of Sicily created by the Arabs.

The trauma of war and their reflection in contemporary art: Guy de Montlaur's artworks and my intuitive beach
The research is devoted to the Wars of the Last Century, as a Global Trauma, which influences on contemporary art on the example of Guy de Montlaur’s artworks and personal experience of the author. The Wars of the Last Century are Global Phenomena of the Modern Stage of development of human civilization. In the Modern World, any military conflict can pose a threat to life on our planet. Every person who in his life took part in the fight against this or that aggressor can be called a Hero of Our Time. The participation in military operations doesn't pass without a trace not only for direct participants, but their relatives and even descendants. The artworks of the member of the French Resistance Guy de Montlaur is dedicated to the fighting in which he participated and was due to his psychological and physical traumas. With my intuitive beaches, things are a bit different. My abstract images are echoes of my father's fateful events. However, for me, as for Guy de Montlaur, the Trauma of War is an objective reality. In addition to the subconscious images, in my battle experiences on the canvases, fully reflected the traumatic influence of the Ideological Struggle, which was also one of the most important of the Past Century Milestones. I spent the last year of his life with my father and fully empathized with all the psychological consequences of participation in hostilities, including the reorganization of perception. The latter often detaches creative personality, great opportunities for self-development, and self-expression.

Consumption of cultural products
New needs that are formed in society are the cause of social and cultural transformations. Responding to these new needs, society can move to a more advanced development. The article shows that the postmodern world does not trade in goods, but in signs and styles. Postmodern culture is extremely diverse, blurring the boundaries between the mass and the elite. Symbolic qualities of the product are beginning to prevail, including in production and design. The consumption of culture is, first of all, the consumption of signs and symbols, since things and values have not only use, market, exchange, but also symbolic value. Things can transmit information, be its bearers, and denote social qualities. They become not only an object of satisfaction of needs, but also a symbol that demonstrates the social significance of its owner.
Key words: culture, needs, society, consumption, values, postmodern, symbols.

The way of life
A comprehensive assessment of human existence is expressed through the concept of" human way of life", which allows us to consider both different, by their nature, manifestations of human social activity, and the variety of factors and determinants that affect it. The article shows that the influence of the environment on a person's lifestyle, on the one hand, is shown in a "compressed" form. On the other hand, the reaction of a person to this influence is reflected. In other words, a person's way of life consists in active and creative interaction with the environment of being, in searching for and improving the forms of this interaction. Thus, it is possible to define the concept of "human lifestyle" as its life activity, which is characterized by certain behaviors and is determined by the environment and the biosocial beginning of a person. In other words, the concept of "human lifestyle" allows us to identify the distinctive features of human existence not only in relation to animals, but also in relation to various subjects of lifestyle within society.
