Social function of the university's third mission

The article deals with topical issues related to the deployment of the process of opening the university system to society. This process, by analogy with the two previous missions of the university - education and science - was called the third mission of universities. Despite the fact that the concept of such a mission itself has not been formed, there is a steady understanding of the importance of cooperation between universities and local communities, innovative practices that contribute to the growth of social responsibility of higher education, which allows us to talk about the possibility in the near future of the fourth mission of universities, reflecting the problems of creativity and self-development.

Key words: higher education, university, mission, social involvement, youth policy, civic socialization, knowledge transfer, technology transfer.

The names of mountain peaks are part of the cultural code and a marker of geopolitical reality

The article attempts to show the possibilities of using the names of mountains - oronyms - to convey the meanings of the cultural codes of the area and the ethnic groups living on it. From the point of view of geopolitics, the typology of oronyms is built along several lines, including the historical context, power relations, glorification algorithms, etc. Over time, these parameters of oronyms no longer correspond to the new geopolitical situation. The process of renaming the names of mountain peaks begins, in which the heroes of the past are replaced by modern ones, and by assigning the names of foreign statesmen to the mountains, they express their geopolitical preferences.

Key words: cultural code, geography, geopolitics, onomastics, oronym.

Special event and mass-event in socio-cultural area: special features

The synonymy or antonymy of mentioning special events among mass-events is debatable. It requires to comparatively analyse the distinctive features of these categories. It was found that the specific ontological status of the special events does indeed exist. It is determined by the factors of public perception, by the type of underlying ritual practice, by peculiarities of their use as a means of realizing the goals of social management. These differences will increase the efficiency of using different types of events depending on the audience and goals.

Key words: festival, interactive ritual, social technologies.

Key words: cinema, agenda-setting, multiculturalism, representation of racial minorities, left-liberal lobby.

The foundations of national identity in the 21st century: history or mythology?

The article studies the possibilities of science (history) and mythology (ideology) to justify the specificity of national identity. It is pointed out that history in its "pure form" is used in that particular role quite rarely but the revealed facts are becoming an organic part of socio-political mythology. Mythology responds to the relevant socio-political order and involves two consecutive procedures: selection and reinterpretation. Selection consists in the fact selection that confirms this or that mythological idea (for example, that all Germans love order). Reinterpretation allows to build on the basis of the selected facts a relatively integral ideological system, including ideas about national identity. They are thus the core of this mythology as the main driving force and the main subject of history at present is not "great personalities" (as it was in the 19th century), but peoples, nations and ethnos. These concepts are based on such theoretical abstractions as national worldview, mentality, national identity, national character, historical purpose of a nation, etc. In the scientific literature they are used very widely although they are not scientific in nature due to the impossibility of their empirical verification. For example, such a concept as a national character seems to be nothing more than a set of stereotypes, such as: «No one smiles in Russia». In general perceptions of a nation’s historical purpose are considered dangerous because of the possibility to justify the domination of one nation over others, i.e. nationalism.

Key words: history, ideology, mythology, nationality, ethnos, identity, national consciousness, mentality, national character, historical purpose.

Russian dance in teaching choreography in higher musical education in China

Being one of the "centers of traditional dance culture in the world", Russian dance culture enjoys a high reputation all over the world. Russian folk dance has distinctive national characteristics, and the dance art has a unique form of expression that attracts more and more people's attention. The development of the Chinese initiative "One Belt, One Road" and the construction of the Sino-Russian Heilongjiang Bridge served to further strengthen Russian-Chinese cultural ties. Cooperation between Chinese and Russian universities makes it possible to widely introduce international educational events into the practice of universities, such as the mutual appointment of experts, visits of scientists and academic exchanges to improve the quality of research and teaching of Russian folk dance. Clarification of the characteristics and structure of the curriculum of the Russian folk dance teaching system will contribute to the improvement of the organization of professional choreography teaching courses in Chinese universities.

Key words: Russian dance, higher musical education, teaching, Russian-Chinese cultural relations.

The religious constant in modern culture

The article analyzes the concept of "religious constant", which is considered as a stable form of culture that preserves the multicultural diversity of the modern world. Religious constants reflect the value orientations of the existence of all peoples, therefore it is necessary to find out the stability of the religious constant, on the one hand preserving ethnic integrity, on the other hand creating boundaries of consciousness that define the modern problems of religious crisis. The study of the religious constant as a cultural phenomenon allows us to take a fresh look at the nature of religious consciousness, and the understanding of historically established religions and socio-cultural relationships can help solve the urgent problems of the mental development of modern man.

High moral ideals of the leader as basic values

The study of the highly moral ideals of the head (as his basic values) in companies is an important direction in the modern development of both the head himself and bringing benefits to the company. Essays on interdisciplinary and innovative priorities of interaction in the scientific and educational sphere

In this article, the author's concept asserts that, constructing the contours of the future in the context of cultural studies, it is necessary to supplement the dialectic of chronopolitics with the dialectic of modern geopolitics. The authors pay close attention to the dialectical-trialectical paradigm that is formed at the same time, integrating the semantic time-totality of the communicative truth of everyday life, which is designed to synthesize the dictate of double standards of elite modernity, through the temporal fluidity of time performing the functions of cultural universals.

The article focuses on the priorities of technology, science and education, which are formed on the basis of strategic goals and tactical tasks of civilization as a whole, and Russia, separately, and which, therefore, affect the subject area of several sciences and meta-sciences, and become interdisciplinary.

Key words: interdisciplinarity, innovativeness, informativeness, paradigm, time-totality, geopolitics.
