The role of mass media in strengthening the value of health and promoting a healthy lifestyle

Important area of medical media topics is the preservation of health and a healthy lifestyle, the preservation and maintenance of adaptive properties of the body – the basis of content strategies of a large number of modern Russian media. To a greater or lesser extent, and because of their professional responsibilities, it is the publication of doctors or interviews with them, as well as official research published in public and non-professional media, that popularize medical knowledge.

The article focuses on the fact that the functions of the popularizer of health and a healthy lifestyle are inherent in the media, both special and for a wide range of the population. In addition to the media that publish articles on preventive medicine and medicine of innovation and introduction of medical technologies, there are a number of media that cover medical knowledge for the population, in order to familiarize society with the achievements of medicine in the direction of maintaining health, maintaining a healthy lifestyle.

Self-education as a determinant of social and professional development of the individual.

Part 1. Theoretical foundations of the study of the concept of "self-education"

The article deals with theoretical research interdisciplinary approaches to the analysis of the concept of "self-education". Through the content analysis of scientific publications, the main subject fields that concentrate the research of this concept are identified, the structure and content of self-education as a research process are formulated.

It is concluded that the current stage of development of the digital society and the increasing influence of digital technologies on social phenomena and processes exacerbate the need for self-education as the most important tool for professional and competence growth of a specialist. In the digital world, the speed of updating knowledge is so high that self-education becomes the only way to quickly respond to this challenge.

Current problems of adaptation and integration into the professional community of young graduates of Russian universities

The transformation of the modern educational system has significantly affected graduates of Russian higher education institutions. A special reflection was obtained when adapting and integrating yesterday's students into the professional community. The requirements of employers have changed, new external challenges have emerged that contribute to the reduction of jobs, "optimization" of labor collectives. As a result, the problem of adaptation and integration of graduates into the professional community has become more acute. In this article, the author will analyze the existing approaches and indicate the most acute pain points, making suggestions for improving the current situation.

Human capital as a factor in the formation of a knowledge society

The article presents a socio-philosophical approach to the analysis of the key concepts of «knowledge society» and «human capital», their relationship. The relevance of the issue under study is due to the fact that the person as the main subject and active participant is the main measure of socio-economic development of society. The result of the qualitative development of society is the effective use of knowledge and human capital as the most important factors in the development of society. The author substantiates the idea that knowledge as an integral element and determining component of human capital is necessary for the subject to survive in difficult conditions, to adapt to the ongoing socio-economic transformations.

Randomness and dualism. Causal dualism and pluralism

The article attempts to unite two well-known philosophical problems. Problems of mental causation, or more broadly, problems of causation in dualism in general, and problems of the ontology of the random. It is shown that both of these issues often arose in the history of philosophy at the same time, but at the same time they were solved in different ways. In particular, Descartes, Leibniz, Popper, Chalmers and others. This is due to the fact that randomness in its various forms, including in the form of freedom, was required by dualism to distinguish between material and immaterial substance or property, since immaterial manifestations were traditionally recognized as more “free”, less dependent on rigid determinism. However, at the same time, the nature of freedom or randomness was never considered as a consequence of the dualistic ontology of the world, since the source of regularities or accidents in dualism was usually some driving force external to the “worlds”, for example, God or an evolutionary process. That is, the ontology of the random and causality in general always found itself outside the framework of dualism, and was not asked by it inside. This article offers a new look at this problem, and an attempt to explain the nature of the random through dualism itself, as a consequence of the uncertainty that takes place between dissimilar entities ("worlds") governed by different laws. It also raises the question of the return of dualism as a paradigm in its causal form in the scientific process.

Morality during the Liminal quarantine period

The work examines the problem of forced isolation of modern society - the liminal period of quarantine. The borderline roles of human behavior during the liminality period have been determined. The article analyzes various liminal conditions, different from the situation with quarantine. It is determined that the current events are global in nature and have a bright axiological connotation - the transformation of moral values. It has been established that the international community is divided in confronting the pandemic - every man for himself.

Self-education as a determinant of social and professional development of the individual.

Part 2. Sociological analysis of the practice of self-education for social and professional development

The article deals with the practical aspects of the use of self-education mechanisms for the purpose of social and professional development. The typology of self-education as a cognitive activity is formed, the conceptual scheme of the self-educational process is defined.

Through a survey of students of Moscow educational institutions of higher education, their basic ideas about the essence and role of self-education in the process of mastering the profession are determined. Educational tasks are ranked in terms of the effectiveness of their solution by self-education methods. The efforts of educational organizations to create conditions for effective self-education of students are evaluated.

It is concluded that the COVID-19 pandemic has actualized the problem of organizing independent educational and cognitive activities and unwittingly acted as a catalyst for both structural and technological innovations in the framework of educational policy aimed at strengthening the importance of the competencies of independent work with educational material. This means that the role and importance of self-education as a cognitive activity for social and professional development will only increase.

The article examines the history and current state of Shor traditional beliefs and cults as the central components of the spiritual culture of the ethnos. The role of the traditional complex of beliefs and rituals in the adaptation of the people to the natural and ethnic environment is reveal. It is conclude that the relevance of the Shor festive and ritual culture is determine by their humanistic potential in the modern socio-cultural situation.

Problems of video boom in the magazine "Soviet Screen"

Video boom as a socio-cultural phenomenon had a noticeable impact on the formation of mass consciousness in the last years of the existence of the USSR. The article examines how this phenomenon was reflected on the pages of the popular Russian magazine "Soviet Screen" during the perestroika period, which made possible the expansion of Western mass culture products into the previously ideologically verified space of Soviet film distribution and film journalism.

Li Linsong

Li Shutong's Contribution to the Dialogue of Cultures and the Development of Buddhism in China

The article represents an analysis of the activities of a prominent Buddhist, Li Shutong, in terms of contribution to the dialogue of cultures and the spread of Buddhism in China. The author presents a short biography of Lee, as well as the reasons that served as his appeal to Buddhism. He also analyzes his creative life in terms of music and painting, as well as his teaching activities and how they influenced the spread of Buddhism in China. Particular attention is paid to the collection of “Songs of Serenity” - the main work of Li Shutong in the field of music and religion. His analysis provides a clear example of the synthesis of eastern and western cultures.

Women's classical throat singing as a distinctive art of the indigenous Turkic-speaking peoples of Siberia

The article deals with the problem of studying and existing female throat singing of the indigenous Turkic-speaking peoples of Siberia. As a research problem, the modern status of female performance as an independent art form is highlighted. The importance of female throat singing as an independent indicator of the continuity of the folk culture of the indigenous Turkic-speaking ethnic groups of Siberia in modern conditions is emphasized.
