Glitter and poverty of civilization in A.S. Green’s romantic reflection

Civilization, like culture, is a superstructure over the biological nature of man, the objectification of his spirit in specific artifacts aimed at satisfying his needs for a comfortable life. But if culture is a compromise between the natural world and the human world, then civilization, developing much faster in the technical aspect, lags to the same extent in the spiritual and moral sphere. This gives rise to problems of adopting advanced technical aspects of civilization, which are also immoral in nature.

A.S. Green was keenly aware of the harm done by the world of technology to the artist’s soul, as he limited his imagination and imagination to fly spirit, which are trying to imitate dead technical constructs.

The article discusses similar existential problems of some heroes of the works of A. S. Green (“Competition in Liss”, “Gray Car”, “Shining World”, “Heavy Air”, “Fighter”) trying to philosophically comprehend and justify the contradictions between the hostile world of technology and spiritual quest for a creative person.

Key words: A.S. Green, romantic reflection, culture, spiritual culture, imagination, fantasy, existence, technical constructs, civilization, human nature.

Corporate culture as a tool for optimizing intercultural communications in international companies

The concept and practices of corporate culture have emerged together with the internationalization of companies as a response to the challenges associated with the cultural diversity of staff, customers and partners. It was expected that the corporate culture allow forming a new supranational corporate identity and, thus, offsetting cultural differences among parent company staff and branches in other countries. It was also assumed that the «corporate identity» could be communicated to a wide range of foreign counterparties (customers, partners, suppliers, distributors, investors, etc.) and could be accepted by them. But over time, these expectations have not fully met. There are some areas that criticized the concept of corporate culture. The authors of the article defend the point of view, according to which the concept of corporate culture should be rethought in the direction of «intersubjective turn». Corporate culture should be associated with the concept and practices of «active intersubjectivity». This will allow forming adequate expectations from corporate culture among the management of international companies and effectively applying this management tool by companies.

Key words: corporate culture, social construction of reality, corporate identity, enactive intersubjectivity, participatory sense-making.
